recipes Since I've been doing a lot of recipe blogging lately, I thought it was time to officially introduce the Birthday Martini! You can clearly see it is also the inspiration for my website!
Last year we made this drink for the my best friend Lisa's birthday. Ever since it's been a staple at all of our friend's birthday celebrations and it's no wonder why. This Martini has all the right ingredient for a girls night. It's delicious, super girly and covered in sprinkles and most importantly it really does taste like birthday cake!
Sadly, I can't find the original blog I got the recipe from, but I do remember I found it through www.foodgawker.com.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 shots Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 1/2 shots half-and-half
- 1/2 shot vodka
- Sprinkles
- Corn syrup or honey
First pour the corn syrup into a plate, and the sprinkles into another small plate. Dip your Martini glass into the corn syrup, and then into the sprinkles. Pour the Godiva, half-and-half and Vodka into a Martini Shaker and strain over ice.

I love your photo! It is so wonderfully filled with bokeh and moodiness.
I think you originally sent the link to me from tastespotting.com ...take a look at this page http://www.tastespotting.com/category/drink/51 the Cloud Nine Martini! Could be a good spot to get ideas for this year!!!
