Melissa & Michael Wedding

From the very beginning of my correspondence with Melissa and Michael it was clear they were planning a beautiful country wedding. I was in love with everything about their day, from the handmade bunting, wild flowers, to vintage china. Even though Melissa and Michael planned their wedding from British Columbia they made sure to support the local Nova Scotia economy whenever possible. They chose the fantastic Hubbards Barn for their venue, the Trellis Cafe for their catering, and local wine and beer for the bar (among many other local vendors).

I was completely swept away the the loveliness of the day. Melissa and Michael had a fantastic wedding  filled with heart, family and special touches. I was truly honored to capture the day ! Hope you enjoy :)

Melissa and Michael suggested we take pictures their engagement photos at the island where Michael proposed. Naturally, it was a perfect setting to capture the lovely couple. 

Gabe's New Puppy Pruie

This past week my brother Gabe got a new family member, Prudence! 

She is named her after our Great-Great Grandmother Prudence, who decided to keep our grandmother and family in Fox Point.
