Sara + Paul - Halifax Engagement Session

On June 27th, I met up with Sara and Paul for a lovely engagement session at Uniacke Estates ahead of their wedding set for a few months from now.

I still can’t believe how amazing Uniacke Estates was—it’s definitely one of my favourite spots to capture weddings and engagements! It has the perfect sort of vibe that you want out of an engagement session, so we were able to get those stunning engagement shots that look like something out of a movie! Infact much of the Lizzie Borden Chronicles were filmed there.  Also, the weather worked out in our favour, too. Even though the weather in Nova Scotia can sometimes be chilly, I swear, this was the first official night of summer with that perfect, warm breeze. It was a perfect setting for the sweetest family.

I can’t get enough of this amazing family together! Seriously, how adorable are they? I especially loved any of the photographs I got of Sara and Paul’s little boy.... amd well every member of the family! the boys  was nothing but delightful and a dream to photograph. But then, when his parents are such warm people—filled with light, laughter, and love—was there ever any doubt that they’d be just as wonderful?

Throughout the session, this beautiful family shared laughter and jokes together; I couldn’t stop smiling with them. By the time I was finished photographing them, I couldn’t possibly deny that these sweet souls were destined to be one loving family together.

Paul & Sara, thank you for letting me capture your story, your life, and your love! I hope you treasure these images for so many years to come! I’m so excited that you will be married in just a few short months. Your family deserves to have that fairy tale wedding to make everything official, and I know that it will be just as wonderful as you are.
